Terms & conditions of domain sale
Last updated: October 25, 2026 · Legal & sales contact: [email protected]
1. Scope & direct seller representation
These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern the purchase, offer submission, payment processing, and registrar transfer of internet domain names listed for sale on DiLenaTech.com and its associated domain landing pages ("Seller", "we", "us").
Every domain listed on this platform is owned directly by the Seller as the current domain registrant. By clicking "Buy now", authorizing an offer via Stripe Checkout, or completing payment through an accepted or counter-offer link, the purchaser ("Buyer", "you") agrees to be bound by these Terms.
2. Purchase modes & offer card pre-authorization
Domains may be acquired through two checkout flows processed securely by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.:
-
Instant purchase ("Buy now"): Completing Stripe Checkout at the listed Buy Now price immediately settles payment and marks the domain as
SOLD, locking the domain exclusively for you. -
Binding offer with temporary card pre-authorization ("Make offer"): When you submit an offer, Stripe Checkout places a temporary authorization hold (
capture_method=manual, valid for up to 7 days) on your payment card for the offered amount. €0.00 is settled upfront.- If we accept your offer: The authorized card hold is captured automatically on Stripe, an official VAT invoice is generated, the domain is marked as
SOLD, and transfer delivery begins immediately. - If we decline your offer: We immediately cancel and release the Stripe authorization hold so no charge is settled on your card.
- If we send a counter-offer: You receive an email with a private Stripe Checkout link for the counter-offer price. Your initial card authorization hold remains active while the counter-offer is open, and is automatically released the moment your counter-offer payment completes (so you are only ever charged once).
- If we accept your offer: The authorized card hold is captured automatically on Stripe, an official VAT invoice is generated, the domain is marked as
3. Delivery & EPP / AuthInfo transfer protocol
Once full payment is confirmed or captured on Stripe:
- We remove the registrar transfer lock on the domain name at our current registrar.
- We deliver the standard registrar EPP / AuthInfo transfer authorization code to the verified email address associated with your Stripe Checkout transaction within 24 hours (and no later than 72 hours).
- You enter the EPP / AuthInfo code at your chosen accredited registrar (such as Cloudflare, OVH, Namecheap, Porkbun, Aruba, Register.it, Hetzner, Gandi, or GoDaddy) to complete the inbound transfer into your own registrar account.
Delivery of the valid EPP / AuthInfo transfer code to the Buyer's checkout email address constitutes full performance of the Seller's delivery obligation.
4. One-time pricing (excl. VAT), EU SME VAT exemption & invoicing
-
All prices quoted exclusive of VAT (excl. VAT): All listed Buy Now prices, minimum offer floors, and negotiated offer prices on DiLenaTech.com are one-time acquisition prices quoted in Euro (
EUR) exclusive of Value Added Tax (excl. VAT) and carry 0% broker commission. -
EU SME VAT Exemption Scheme (0% VAT in granted Member States): DiLenaTech.com operates under the European Union Cross-Border Small Enterprise (SME) VAT Exemption Scheme (Council Directive (EU) 2020/285; Title XII, Chapter 1 of Directive 2006/112/EC). VAT exemption is active in the following EU Member States:
VAT exemption granted (0% VAT — B2B & B2C)Ireland (IE), Austria (AT), Belgium (BE), France (FR), Germany (DE), and Italy (IT). Buyers established in these countries pay 0% VAT.Other EU Member States & non-EU buyersBG, CY, CZ, DK, EE, EL, ES, FI, HR, HU, LT, LU, LV, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SE, SI, SK: SME exemption not granted. 0% VAT applies to business buyers with a valid EU VAT number under the EU B2B Reverse Charge mechanism (Art. 44 & 196 Directive 2006/112/EC) and to all non-EU buyers (UK, CH, US, etc.).
- Official Stripe invoice: Buyers may enter their company name and VAT / tax identification number (e.g. EU VAT / Partita IVA) prior to or during Stripe Checkout. Stripe automatically issues a sequential downloadable invoice PDF and payment receipt.
- Subsequent registrar renewals: Once the domain is transferred to your registrar, DiLenaTech.com charges no recurring fees. You are solely responsible for paying your chosen registrar's standard annual renewal fees to keep the domain active.
5. Refund policy & finality of completed transfers
- 100% refund guarantee prior to transfer delivery: If we are unable to unlock the domain or provide a valid, working EPP / AuthInfo authorization code within 72 hours of payment confirmation due to a registry or registrar restriction on our side, we will issue a 100% full refund via Stripe immediately.
- Finality upon EPP code delivery (EU Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 16(m)): Because an EPP / AuthInfo authorization code is a single-use cryptographic credential that immediately grants control to transfer the intangible domain registration right, all sales are final and non-refundable once the EPP / AuthInfo code has been delivered to the Buyer's email address and/or the inbound transfer has been initiated at a receiving registrar.
- Chargeback protection: The Buyer agrees not to file unwarranted card chargebacks after receiving the EPP / AuthInfo transfer code. Our platform records cryptographic audit logs of Stripe Checkout sessions, IP addresses, and EPP delivery timestamps for Stripe dispute resolution.
6. TLD registry eligibility & "as-is" disclaimer
Certain country-code top-level domain registries — including .eu (EURid) and .it (Registro .it) — require the registrant to be an individual residing in, or an organization established within, the European Economic Area (EEA), European Union, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom (as applicable per registry rules). The Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring their receiving registrar account meets the relevant TLD registry's eligibility requirements.
Domain names are sold strictly as descriptive or brandable web addresses on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without any representation or warranty regarding historical search engine rankings, traffic volume, backlink profiles, or third-party trademark clearance in any jurisdiction. The Buyer is solely responsible for their intended use of the domain name after transfer.
7. Governing law & contact information
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and applicable European Union law. Any questions regarding a domain listing, transfer status, or invoice may be directed to:
